Accident Occurs at the Intersection of Komitas and Vagharchyan Streets. Injuries Reported

On May 25 at 00:19, the National Crisis Management Center received information that an accident had occurred at the intersection of Komitas Avenue and Vagharchyan Street in Yerevan, with injuries reported. This was announced by the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

A firefighting unit from the Emergency Situations Minister’s Yerevan Rescue Department was dispatched to the scene.

It was found that two vehicles were involved in the collision: an 'Opel Astra' (driver: Tigran A., born in 1994) and a 'Mercedes-Benz C180' (driver: Armen M., born in 1995).

Rescuers assisted the driver of the 'Mercedes-Benz C180' and a passenger of the 'Opel Astra' (Narek S., born in 1990) by bringing them to an ambulance; they were subsequently hospitalized at Heratsi Hospital Number 1, where they received appropriate medical treatment and were later discharged.

The rescuers disconnected the vehicles' batteries and closed the valves on the gas cylinders.
