24-Hour Suspension of Medical Centers
Based on the violations recorded during the extensive monitoring by the Health and Labor Inspection Body of Armenia, decisions have been made to suspend activities of several medical centers operating in Yerevan.
The acceptance and service of new individuals (visitors and patients) has been prohibited for 24 hours, except for cases requiring emergency medical assistance. Measures have been organized to promptly eliminate the identified violations.
The suspension decisions have been made by the Prime Minister based on the government decree on declaring a state of emergency in Armenia, according to Appendix N8 of the Prime Minister's decision N63, as well as based on reports compiled from ongoing monitoring conducted under the orders of the head of the Health and Labor Inspection Body.
Active monitoring continues with the aim of preventing the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19), based also on complaints and requests received via the health department's hotline and online.
