Stabbing Near SAS Supermarket: 27-Year-Old Victim

On May 16, an extraordinary incident occurred in Yerevan. At approximately 3:30 AM, the police received a call from the Erebuni Medical Center informing them that a citizen had been transported to their facility with a "stab wound in the abdominal area" near the SAS supermarket located on Yervand Kochar Street.

According to Shamshyan.com, an operational group from the police’s central department, led by Deputy Head Nikoyan, was dispatched to the hospital. While the doctors at Erebuni Hospital were fighting to save the victim’s life (thanks to the doctors, the victim's life was saved), the police were able to identify the injured individual as 27-year-old Gagik G., a resident of Yerevan.

Police also determined that a confrontation occurred around 3:00 AM near the SAS supermarket involving Yerevan residents, 26-year-old Vladimir M., 29-year-old Sevan Kh., the injured Gagik G., and two unknown individuals. During the altercation, Gagik G. sustained a stab wound from a sharp object.

Agents from the Central Division’s Criminal Investigation Department gathered operational data and discovered that the confrontation also involved Yerevan residents, 24-year-old Haik Kh. and 24-year-old Tigran T. Tigran T. is suspected of having stabbed Gagik G. and is currently being sought by the police. The authorities are taking necessary actions to locate both Tigran T. and Haik Kh.
