Horrific Incident in Yerevan: Father Throws Two Children from 9th Floor

Today, on May 5th, at around 07:40, the Police Department of Yerevan and the Emergency Situations Ministry's Rescue Service received an alert about bodies found between buildings 92 and 91 in the Malatia-Sebastia administrative district.

According to Shamshyan.com, police and rescue teams discovered the bodies of 40-year-old Karen M. and his two children, an 8-year-old boy and a 5-year-old girl, at the scene.

Several citizens gathered at the site, who declined to speak on camera, stated: "The father lived on the 9th floor of building 92 with the children, and we have been informed that he threw them out of the window before jumping himself. We are in shock."

Neighbors noted that they had never seen any bad behavior from him, describing him positively, and mentioned that he was divorced.

According to sources, the ex-husband had called his ex-wife a day prior, saying he missed the children and asked her to bring them to his home. Later, he told her that it was too late for them to leave and that they should stay and leave in the morning, which is when this tragic event occurred.
