Video: Over 130 grams of drugs found with a 50-year-old citizen

On May 14, the anti-drug unit of the Main Directorate of Criminal Police, the Shirak regional department, and the Mush division, in collaboration with road police officers, uncovered another case of illegal drug possession and use.

At around 6 PM, law enforcement officers apprehended a 50-year-old resident from Halabyan Street at the Mush police division, on Yerevanyan Highway in Gyumri.

During a personal search of the suspect, green and brown crushed dried herbal substances were discovered. According to the detainee, the substances found were drugs made from cannabis bushes, which he had harvested last year from wild bushes in the village of Azatavan and had prepared for personal use.

A forensic chemical examination has been ordered. The circumstances are being clarified, and materials are being prepared on the fact.
