Shooting in Yerevan: Blood-like Traces and a 'Makarov' Cartridge Found at the Scene

On May 12, a conflict and shooting occurred in Yerevan. Around 11:00 PM, the Police Tactical Management Center of Yerevan received a report that a brawl had erupted on Shiraki 1st Lane in the Shengavit administrative district, during which shots were fired. This was reported by shamshyan.com.

Police discovered blood-like traces and a 9mm cartridge fired from a 'Makarov' pistol in front of the building in question. An investigative team from the Shengavit Investigation Division of the Yerevan City Investigation Department of the Armenian Investigative Committee is working at the scene. A criminal case has been opened regarding hooliganism and illegal possession, carrying, and use of weapons and ammunition.

The police and the investigative division are determining whether any injured individuals were transported to hospitals and are undertaking necessary operational and investigative actions to clarify the circumstances of the incident, the identity of the participants in the fight, and to recover the weapon used in the crime.
