Search for 32-Year-Old Man Continues for 16 Days; Car Found Near Sevan Peninsula
On May 13, at 1:25 PM, a rescue team from the regional rescue department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) was dispatched to the "9th Wave" beach to continue search efforts for a missing citizen.
It was reported that on April 27, at 10:10 AM, the National Crisis Management Center received information that a car belonging to the recently missing citizen was found near the Sevan Peninsula in Gegharkunik Province, along with some clothing. The assistance of lifeguards is required to conduct rescue operations in the lake.
Two rescue teams from the special aquatic rescue unit of the MES regional rescue department have arrived at the scene. The search operations have since been suspended, as the missing citizen has yet to be located.
It was clarified that the vehicle and belongings belong to a resident of Abovyan, Volodya V. (born in 1988). From April 29 to May 5, the special aquatic rescue team conducted search operations in the area of the "9th Wave" beach, which ended without results.
