License Plates of Several Expensive Cars Stolen Overnight in Yerevan

On May 11, several incidents of car license plate theft occurred within just a few hours in the 4th district of the Davtashen administrative area of Yerevan. According to Shamshyan.com, at around 12:00 PM, a 33-year-old resident named Inga P. reported to the Mashtots police department that from 8:00 PM on May 10 until 8:40 AM on May 11, unknown individuals had stolen the license plates from her parked Mercedes vehicle with the license number 53 ZZ 033, located at the building at 49 Davtashen 4th district.

Inga P. is employed as a senior specialist at one of the banks operating in Armenia.

On the same day, a 39-year-old resident named Arsen M. also reported to the Mashtots police department, stating that during the same time frame, unknown individuals had stolen the license plates from his parked Mercedes vehicle with the license number 90 AM 101, which is also located at the same building.

Arsen M. works as a director at 'AITQ' LLC.

Additionally, a 35-year-old resident named Karen M. reported to the police that during the same period, unknown individuals had stolen the license plates from his Lexus vehicle with the license number 10 RX 500, parked in the same building’s yard.

A few hours later, a 25-year-old resident named Mihran Ch. also contacted the Mashtots police department, reporting that his Infiniti vehicle with the license number 01 MZ 777, parked at the same location, had its license plates stolen during the same timeframe.

The source reports that police have initiated investigation materials regarding all thefts in the Mashtots police department. The site also notes that the incidents of license plate thefts in the republic have doubled in recent months.
