Nearly 30 Businesses Face Temporary Activity Suspension

The Health and Labor Inspection Body of Armenia informs that, based on the decision No. 69 of the Prime Minister, around three dozen businesses have been subjected to temporary activity suspensions due to violations recorded during extensive monitoring by the Inspection Body.

... in accordance with point 2, 6, and 7 of the government decision No. 298-N dated March 16, 2020, concerning the declaration of a state of emergency in the Republic of Armenia, as well as point 20 of the annex to the decision, and based on the orders issued on May 5, 2020, by the head of the Health and Labor Inspection Body, inspections conducted on May 5 and 6, 2020, have led to this decision.

1. The following businesses are prohibited from expanding their operations at their respective branch addresses for a period of 24 hours:

2. The head of the Health and Labor Inspection Body of Armenia, Hakob Avagyan, is instructed to ensure that businesses are informed about this decision.

3. The activities of the businesses are prohibited from the moment of notification.

4. The Chief of Police of the Republic of Armenia, Arman Sargsyan, is directed to ensure full oversight of the enforcement of the requirements in point 1 of this decision.

5. This decision comes into effect upon publication.
