Traffic Accident in Kotayk Province: 07 Crossed into Oncoming Lane, Collided with Opel, Several Injured

On May 5, a traffic accident occurred in Kotayk Province. Around 7:00 PM, vehicles collided head-on on the 2nd km section of the Zovuni-Kanakerravan roadway. The cars involved were a VAZ 2107 with license plate 35 AT 253 and an Opel Astra with license plate 34 PV 314.

According to Shamshyan.com, as a result of the accident, three individuals were hospitalized with bodily injuries at the Astghik Medical Center. The medical response team acted promptly, providing first aid to the injured at the scene before they were transported to the hospital. Citizens were the first to extend help to those injured.

Preliminary reports indicate that the driver of the VAZ 2107 was at fault, having crossed into the oncoming lane, creating a hazardous situation for the Opel driver, leading to the collision. Furthermore, the "Tsran Vergon" was reportedly trying to mediate on behalf of the VAZ 2107 driver.
