27-Year-Old Driver Crashes 'Niva' into Trash Can and Electric Pole; Hospitalized

On May 3, a serious car accident occurred in Yerevan. Around 22:45, 27-year-old Harutyun Babayan, a resident of Yerevan, collided with a trash can placed on the road in unknown circumstances while driving a VAZ 21214 vehicle, violently pushing it several meters before crashing into an electric pole.

As a result of the accident, the driver was rescued by firefighters from the Emergency Situations Ministry and local citizens who quickly responded. He received first aid on site from paramedics of Yerevan's 1-03 ambulance service before being transferred to Astghik Medical Center.

Authorities are preparing materials regarding the incident, and the vehicle has been moved to a designated area maintained by the Yerevan Traffic Police.
