Search Operations for Missing 32-Year-Old Citizen Near Lake Sevan Concluded Without Results: Emergency Situations Ministry
On May 3, at 10:00 AM, a search operation was carried out to find a missing citizen, with a rescue team deployed from the regional rescue department to the ‘9th Wave’ beach. This was reported by the communications department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
The search operations concluded without success. It is worth noting that on April 27, at 10:10 AM, the National Center for Crisis Management received information about the discovery of a vehicle and clothing belonging to a recently missing individual near the Sevan Peninsula in Gegharkunik Province; assistance from rescuers was necessary to conduct underwater search and rescue operations.
Two operational teams from the special water rescue unit of the Ministry of Emergency Situations’ Gegharkunik regional rescue department were dispatched to the site. The search operations were halted, and no drowned citizen was found. It was revealed that the vehicle and belongings belonged to Volodya V., a resident of Abovyan city (born in 1988).
From April 29 to May 2, the special water rescue unit of the regional rescue department conducted search operations in the area of the ‘9th Wave’ beach, which ultimately concluded without results.
