Rescuers Retrieve 11-Year-Old Boy Who Fell into a Ravine
On May 3, at 14:21, the National Crisis Management Center received information that a child had fallen into a ravine (about 3 meters) on the road leading to the monastery from the village of Haghartsin in Tavush Province. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES).
A firefighting and rescue team from the regional rescue department of the MES was dispatched to the scene. Rescuers pulled Gagik T. (born in 2009) from the ravine adjacent to Haghartsin Monastery and brought him to the ambulance.
The injured boy was hospitalized at Berd Medical Center, where doctors assessed his health condition as satisfactory.
