Car Falls Into River in Kapan

On April 30, at 14:25, a call was received by the National Center for Crisis Management reporting that a car had fallen into the Vachagan River in the town of Kapan, Syunik Province. This was announced by the Information and Public Relations Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

A firefighting unit from the regional rescue department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations was dispatched to the scene. It was found that a Mercedes C model car had fallen into the river, but there were no injuries reported.

Rescuers disconnected the electricity from the vehicle and closed the valve of the gas cylinder.
