Azerbaijan Utilizes 60mm Mortars Towards Martuni in Artsakh, No Casualties Reported

Today, on April 29, around 15:00 and 17:25, the Azerbaijani forces utilized 60mm mortars against the Armenian forward positions located in the eastern section of the Artsakh-Azerbaijan conflict line (Martuni). As a result of the incident, the Artsakh Defense Army's subdivisions did not suffer any losses.

After the response actions undertaken by the Armenian subdivisions, the enemy's activity was neutralized. It is noteworthy that this is the first instance of Azerbaijani armed forces using mortar-type weapons against Armenian positions since June 2019.

Additionally, throughout the day, violations of the ceasefire regime were recorded in various sections of the contact line involving other small arms as well. Currently, the situation along the front line remains calm, and the forward subdivisions of the Artsakh Defense Army continue to confidently carry out their combat missions.
