Soil Mass of 200 Cubic Meters Detached and Slid in Shahumyan, Blocking the Street

On April 27, at 13:18, the National Crisis Management Center received information about a landslide (approximately 180 cubic meters) at the outskirts of 6th Street in the Shahumyan community of Lori Province.

An operational group from the regional rescue department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations was dispatched to the scene. It was clarified that the landslide occurred around 08:00 on the same day. Approximately 200 cubic meters of soil-mixed material detached from the left hillside of one of the houses on 6th Street and slid about 25 meters towards the right-side retaining wall of the street, completely blocking it. The house is at risk, and there is a potential danger of movement for another about 200 cubic meters of soil-mixed material.

There was no need for rescue services.
