Criminal Case Opened in Connection with Incident Involving Seda Safaryan's Relatives: Gor Abrahamyan
Gor Abrahamyan, an advisor to the Attorney General, announced on his Facebook page that a criminal case has been initiated in response to an incident involving attorney Seda Safaryan's relatives in the Mush neighborhood of Yerevan on the evening of April 24. The case was opened at the direction of the prosecutor at the Malatya division of the police based on Article 258, Part 3 of the RA Criminal Code.
As part of the preliminary investigation, urgent investigative, other procedural, and operational-intelligence measures are being carried out. Necessary expert examinations have been appointed, and the main circle of victims and individuals who allegedly committed criminal acts during the incident has been identified. Efforts are underway to locate several of these individuals.
A thorough, objective, and multifaceted investigation will clarify all circumstances of the case, and all possible motives will be examined. Relevant information will be provided in due course regarding the progress and results of the investigation.
