Landslide in Artavan Village Puts House at Risk
On April 24, at 16:00, the National Crisis Management Center received information regarding a landslide in one of the streets of Artavan village, Vayots Dzor Province, which has rendered some sections of the road impassable and damaged the water supply line.
An operational team from the regional rescue department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations has been dispatched to the site. It has been determined that a landslide occurred on the roadside of 17th Street in the "Aghkyend" neighborhood of Artavan village, measuring 10 meters in length, 10 meters in width, and 5 meters in depth. There are also numerous cracks present on the road.
The landslide poses a threat to an uninhabited house located 7 meters away from the road. Rescuers have cordoned off the affected section of the road.
