Support for Beneficiary Families to be Provided at 50% of Benefits in Cash Payments and Electricity Bill Assistance
Beneficiary families entitled to family and social benefits as of April 2020 are eligible for the 13th measure aimed at neutralizing the economic impacts of the coronavirus. The assistance will be provided to each family at 50% of their benefit amount, with 70% disbursed in cash along with the April benefits payment, while 30% will be transferred to cover the electricity bill for the electricity consumed by the subscriber.
The amount will be transferred to the electricity supplier in the name of each beneficiary family. In cases where the beneficiary has outstanding debts, the money will be directed towards settling the resident subscriber's debt. If there are no debts, the amount will be treated as a prepaid payment. In cases where the beneficiary is not an electricity subscriber, the funds will be disbursed as a cash payment along with the April benefits payment.
No application or data verification is required to receive this support.
