Two Large Cases of Theft Registered in Vanadzor in One Day
According to Shamshyan.com, theft incidents occurred in the Lori province on April 19. A 40-year-old resident of Vanadzor, Arthur Ohanyan, reported to the police department of Bazum that his shop adjacent to the address 75 Tigran Mets Avenue had been robbed.
The operational group of the Bazum police department arrived at the scene and found that on the same day, around 05:20, an unidentified person or persons had opened the window of a beauty salon operating at the specified address using technical means. They then entered the premises, opened the door to the perfume shop inside, and stole a substantial number of cosmetic bags and various perfumes. According to reports, the victim, A. Ohanyan, works as a staff secretary at the Vanadzor city hall and incurred damages amounting to about 500,000 drams.
On the same day, another theft occurred in Vanadzor. An unidentified person or persons entered a partially constructed building in the “Warm Mountain” area and stole two pedigree puppies. The victim, 66-year-old Armenak Petrosyan, a resident of the “Warm Mountain” district of Vanadzor, reported this theft to the Gugark police department, stating that he suffered losses of approximately 400,000 drams.
For both incidents, materials are being prepared in the investigative departments of the territorial police. The police are taking necessary operational and investigative measures to identify the criminals and recover the stolen goods.
