Wanted in Nor Nork for Murder: Convicted Killer Nicknamed 'Edulik'

On April 20, a wanted notice was issued for 34-year-old Eduard Yeghiazaryan, a resident of Gyulikevkhyan Street in the Nor Nork administrative district of Yerevan. This was reported by shamshyan.com.

According to the source, Yeghiazaryan is suspected of murdering 39-year-old Manuk Sargsyan, a resident of A. Hovhannisyan Street in Nor Nork, using a firearm on April 15, near the 'Tzitzan' supermarket on Bakunts Street in Yerevan. He is wanted under the features of Article 104 (Section 1) and Article 235 (Section 1) of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia.

The report also indicates that Yeghiazaryan has previously been convicted for murder and is known by the nickname 'Edulik' among his acquaintances.

Earlier, the Investigation Committee of Armenia had initiated a criminal case under Article 104 (Section 1) and Article 235 (Section 1) concerning the murder that took place on April 15 in Yerevan using a firearm.

Police and investigators in Nor Nork determined that the deceased, Manuk Sargsyan, was transported to a hospital by emergency medical personnel after being shot. Sargsyan was driving a Lexus with the license plate 09 MՏ 090 when an unidentified person fired shots at him in the vicinity of the 'Tzitzan' supermarket on Bakunts Street. Injured, Sargsyan drove approximately 700 meters before colliding with parked Ford Transit, Opel, and Ford Mondeo vehicles.

At the scene of the shooting, police and investigators found three fired cartridges of 7.62 mm caliber.

The investigation is ongoing. The police and the investigative department are taking necessary operational-search and investigative joint actions to uncover the crime and locate the perpetrator or perpetrators and the weapon used in the crime.

According to the source, the deceased Manuk Sargsyan had previously fired shots years ago in the Nor Nork administrative district.
