Extraordinary Incident in Yerevan: 26-Year-Old Hospitalized from the Back of School No. 190
An extraordinary incident occurred in Yerevan yesterday, April 18. At approximately 9:50 PM, the Astghik Medical Center reported to the Malatya Division of Police that a citizen with a "gunshot wound to the left leg" had been transported to their facility.
According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, an operational group from the Malatya Police Department was dispatched to the hospital, led by Division Chief Igor Mesropyan.
As reported by Shamshyan.com, the police established that the victim was a resident of the South-Western district, 26-year-old Gagik A.
While doctors were providing assistance to the injured man, the Malatya police determined that on the same day, around 9:30 PM, in the rear of School No. 190 located in the South-Western B2 district, an unidentified person had argued with Gagik A., struck various parts of his body with hands and feet, and then assaulted him with a sharp cutting and piercing object, hitting his thigh.
The police are also investigating the information provided by Astghik Medical Center to determine whether Gagik A. sustained a gunshot wound or not. More details can be found on the source website.
