Newly Elected President of the Republic of Artsakh Hosted at the Ministry of Defense
On April 18, the Minister of Defense of Armenia, David Tonoyan, had an unofficial meeting at the Ministry of Defense administrative complex with the newly elected President of the Republic of Artsakh, Araik Harutyunyan. Tonoyan congratulated Harutyunyan on his election as President of Artsakh and wished him success.
The head of the defense department also noted that the armed forces of the Republic of Armenia, in cooperation with the Artsakh Defense Army, will continue to ensure and strengthen the security and peaceful development of the Armenian people.
During the meeting, a number of ongoing and planned programs related to cooperation in the defense sector and the strengthening of defense capabilities were discussed.
