Metal Sheet Falls on Worker at Hrazdan HPP, Resulting in Fatality

On April 16, a tragic incident occurred in the Kotayk region. Around 14:20, the Hrazdan Medical Center notified the Hrazdan police department that a citizen was brought in with a diagnosis of 'polytrauma,' who unfortunately passed away 10 minutes later without regaining consciousness. Police and investigators established that the deceased was 41-year-old Vardan Petrosyan, a resident of the town of Masis. He was conducting dismantling work at the Hrazdan HPP around 14:00 when a metal sheet fell from a crane operated by 56-year-old Ruben Matevosyan, a resident of the Aragatsotn region, striking Petrosyan on the head. As a result, he was transported to the Hrazdan Medical Center, where he later died.
