I Resigned from the Position of Head of the Passport Division and the Police System. Karapet Tumasian
Karapet Tumasian has officially resigned from the position of head of the Passport Division of the Police Department of Armenia.
“Dear friends, relatives, and respected citizens,
Due to personal reasons, I initiated a request on April 10, 2020, and today I have resigned from my position as head of the Passport Division of the Police Department and from the police system, which I feel is important to inform you about, guided by the principles of public service transparency and accountability, as well as considering your attitudes towards me.
Looking back at the 16 years I dedicated to the police force—from the Police Academy to the Passport and Visa Division, where I was refined as a public servant for ten years—I have unconditionally accepted, acknowledge, and will continue to accept a simple truth: those years have been successful in terms of my development as a person and as a professional, for which I am grateful to the POLICE. If given the chance to choose a university and a profession again, I would choose my dear Educational Complex and my beloved profession once more.
Emphasized PASSION—this is the quality that has accompanied me at every moment in my work. How successful I have been in realizing this, I leave to the judgment of the public and God.
I assure you that in any matter, to the best of my abilities, I will continue to stand by you and serve our country and people. Thank you all for your trust and sincere attitude. May God protect us all,” Tumasian wrote.
