We Have No Commodity Deficit and Will Not Have One: Pashinyan

“After certain fluctuations, prices are returning to their normal levels, with the exception of a few product types; we have no commodity deficit and we will not have one,” stated Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during a government meeting.

Pashinyan assured that, thanks to close cooperation with colleagues from Georgia and Russia, the issue of normal exports from Armenia has been successfully resolved at this time, and there are fundamentally no issues regarding imports.

The Prime Minister also addressed the work of Armenia's representative in Upper Lars, while the head of the State Revenue Committee, David Ananyan, noted that the representative in Upper Lars has begun fulfilling their duties, although they had previously been conducting them remotely.

“They are actively participating and have come out of quarantine. Our ambassador in Russia has also written to the leadership of Ossetia requesting support. In other words, all the necessary cooperation that exists is moving forward with a paramount unified, team-oriented idea,” said Ananyan.
