Government Approves 13th Measure to Mitigate Economic Effects of Coronavirus
The government has approved the thirteenth measure to mitigate the economic effects of the coronavirus.
The purpose of this measure is to assist socially vulnerable families facing social issues due to the challenges arising from the spread of coronavirus.
Beneficiaries of the measure are families entitled to family and social assistance as of April 2020.
Support is provided to each family in the amount of 50% of their assistance, as stipulated in point 2 of this measure, with 70% provided in cash form along with the payment of the April benefit. The remaining 30% is allocated as payment for electric energy consumed by the beneficiary. In cases where the beneficiary is not a subscriber, the amount will be provided in the manner defined by point 1 of this clause.
The amount specified in subpoint 2 of point 3 of this measure will be transferred in the name of each beneficiary family that is a subscriber to the electric energy supplier. In case of existing debt of the beneficiary, the amount will be directed to settle the resident subscriber's debt, and in the absence of such debt, it will be arranged as a prepaid amount.
