Entry and Exit to Norashen Village Closed for 3 Days by the Decision of the Chief of Police
The Deputy Prime Minister and Chief of Police Tiqran Avinyan has announced restrictions in the Norashen community of the Ararat region until April 18 at 23:59.
The text of the Chief of Police's decision is presented below:
“1) The following restrictions are applied in the Norashen community of the Ararat region:
A) A special regime for entering and exiting the administrative boundaries of the community (excluding the Fantan administrative area) has been established, prohibiting the entry and exit of individuals and vehicles, except for the delivery of essential goods, supplies, food products, medicines, and fuel.
B) An exception has been set for the restriction on entering the Norashen community for individuals who have the right to permanent residence or who actually reside in the Norashen community until April 15, 2020, at 24:00.
C) To ensure the implementation of the special regime, special checkpoints and inspection points will be established by the National Security Service and Police at designated locations to conduct inspections of individuals and vehicles allowed to enter the administrative area of Norashen.
2) The Director of the National Security Service Eduard Martirosyan, the Chief of Police Arman Sargsyan, and the Minister of Health Arsen Torosyan are tasked with ensuring the implementation of this decision.
3) This decision comes into effect upon publication and is valid until April 18, 2020, at 23:59,”
