VIDEO: Gunshots Heard in Artik During the Night

The police in Artik heard gunshots while on enhanced night duty on Independence Street and took measures to clarify the details of the incident.

They discovered a 25-year-old local resident on Freedom Street, who is believed to have fired the shots. A cartridge was found and seized at the scene.

The young man was taken into custody along with his Mercedes and presented a factory-numbered gas pistol to the criminal investigators at the Artik police station. This firearm was also confiscated and sent for examination. A forensic examination has been appointed, and the circumstances of the incident are under investigation.
