Turkish Media on the Writing of Boxes Sent from China to Armenia
The Turkish media has not remained indifferent to the well-known writing on humanitarian aid boxes that arrived in Armenia from China on April 8. This was reported by Ermenihaber.
The mention of Mount Ararat as a symbol of Armenia by China has unsettled Turkish journalists. They have labeled this writing as scandalous and noted that it has sparked a wave of protests in Turkey's society.
It is worth recalling that the humanitarian cargo, consisting of medical supplies and equipment acquired with state funds, was sent to Armenia via a special flight initiated by the government. The shipment also included donations from Armenian and Chinese philanthropists.
Written on the boxes coming from China was the phrase: “May our friendship be greater than Mount Ararat and longer than the Yangtze River.”
