Six Individuals Infected with Coronavirus in Tavush Region: Governor

Six individuals have been infected with the coronavirus in the Tavush region. This statement was made by Tavush Governor Hayk Chobanyan on Facebook.

"Dear friends, the situation in Tavush is under control. Currently, we have six infected individuals who are in appropriate medical facilities and are feeling well. Let us wish them a successful recovery. In the region, 96 people are in quarantine, and 188 are self-isolating.

During these days, we are doing everything to address the urgent social issues of our residents, mainly by providing food packages. As of today, food assistance has been provided to over 2,000 families and an additional 1,200 children. This is a continuous process every day. Thank you to all participants.

Meanwhile, our residents have started to register for various social support programs. I encourage everyone to be active in this regard, and if you have any issues, please contact the hotlines of the governor's office, or simply write to us in any way.

During these days, we have distributed more than 100 computers and tablets to our students. In the coming days, an additional number will be provided.

The next crucial direction is ensuring the pace of economic development in Tavush, including support for participation in the economic stimulus programs announced by the government. I ask everyone to be more active and to apply for government support programs or reach out to the governor's office in any way.
