‘Joghout’ Reports Tigran Mukuchyan Testifies in Hrayr Tovmasyan Case

‘Joghout’ newspaper writes: In the framework of the criminal case concerning Supreme Court President Hrayr Tovmasyan and his protégé Norayr Panosyan's abuse of official powers, Tigran Mukuchyan, the Chairman of the Central Election Commission, has been questioned as a witness. As it is known, the investigative body has established that the space located at 162 in building 14 on Baghramyan 1 deadlock was effectively acquired by the Yerevan city municipality through an auction.

The issue is that this space has been leased by the CEC president's wife, who has been conducting notarial activities there. Furthermore, the statements made by CEC President Tigran Mukuchyan to the investigative body have reached the ‘Joghout’ newspaper. In particular, during the investigation, it was revealed that a lower rental fee was set for Tigran Mukuchyan's wife for conducting notarial activities in the aforementioned space compared to others.

During the questioning, the investigator inquired how the CEC president would justify that the space was leased to his wife under more favorable conditions than to others in that same area. For details on the CEC president's response to this question and the testimony he provided, you can read in ‘Joghout’ newspaper.
