60 Families Provided with Essential Food Packages: Romanos Petrosyan

Due to the state of emergency declared in the country, disinfection works continue on a daily basis in several communities of the region, reported Kotayk Governor Romanos Petrosyan on his Facebook page.

“Disinfection agents have been used to disinfect the inter-community streets, yards, and sidewalks of Tsaghkadzor, Byureghavan, and Solak. Along with disinfection works, various social initiatives and programs are ongoing in the communities. Notably, 60 beneficiary families were provided with essential food packages through the initiative of the ‘Van’ football club in the Charentsavan community.

Another social initiative was carried out by the Nor Geghi municipality and the ‘KAY AND JI GROUP’ LLC representing the ‘ECOBERRY’ strawberry production. They provided the local teachers, kindergarten staff, municipality employees, postal workers, healthcare professionals, volunteers, and staff of the St. John the Baptist Church in Nor Geghi with products from the ‘ECOBERRY’ strawberry range.

The company ‘Rock Berry’ operating in the Kamaris community has again delivered its products to our fellow citizens isolated in the Tsaghkadzor resorts. Additionally, masks were made and distributed to residents by the initiative of the Solak community.

Various social programs continue to be implemented in our communities, and I once again urge everyone to strictly adhere to the limitations set by the Commandant’s Office during these days, #stayhome, and only go outside when absolutely necessary, bringing along a special sample form. At the same time, I express my gratitude to all the entrepreneurs, individuals, and volunteers for being with us and for implementing such extensive projects in our communities.
