VIDEO: Police Uncover Car Theft Incidents in Ajapnyak

In recent days, the Mashtots Police Department received several reports regarding personal property thefts. The targeted vehicles were of various makes parked in the yards of the Ajapnyak administrative district. Side mirrors were the items being stolen. This information comes from the Police of the Republic of Armenia.

The department's criminal investigators conducted operational measures and determined that the thefts were the work of the same individual. Soon, factual data concerning the suspect's identity was obtained. The individual in question is a 37-year-old man residing in Yerevan, who has previously come under police operational scrutiny for car thefts.

On April 7, Mashtots district criminal investigators located and apprehended the suspect, who then provided a confession during questioning. Further investigative measures revealed that the detainee had committed thefts not only in Ajapnyak but also in other administrative districts of the capital. Efforts are being made to identify the affected individuals and clarify the circumstances of the incidents. The investigation continues.
