Armenia and Russia's Foreign Ministers Discuss Measures Against Coronavirus
The foreign ministers of Armenia and Russia, Zohrab Mnatsakanyan and Sergey Lavrov, held a telephone conversation during which they discussed measures related to the spread of the coronavirus and its prevention. This was reported by the Russian Foreign Ministry, as cited by РИА Новости.
According to the Russian Foreign Ministry, the conversation took place on April 8 at the initiative of the Armenian side. The heads of the foreign affairs agencies discussed the pandemic in both countries, measures to counteract the spread of the infection, and steps to neutralize its negative impact.
The officials exchanged views on bilateral relations, the resolution of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, and cooperation within the frameworks of the CSTO, EAEU, CIS, and the UN.
