Kocharian Sues Pashinyan Demanding 2 Million Drams
The second President of Armenia, Robert Kocharian, has filed a lawsuit against Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan in the Yerevan City Court, demanding protection of his honor and dignity against Pashinyan's public statements that he claims were defamatory.
This information has been obtained from the Judicial Information System. The lawsuit was submitted to the court on April 3 and assigned to Judge Tigran Grigoryan.
Kocharian is seeking compensation of 2 million drams for statements made by Pashinyan that he alleges are defamatory, made during the campaign for the referendum.
