Prime Minister Holds Another Meeting Emphasizing the Promotion of Creativity
Under the leadership of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, a meeting was held with the heads of government agencies representing the economic bloc and specialists from the Central Bank.
The Prime Minister noted that the purpose of the meeting was to assess the impact of the coronavirus on the economy and to identify the opportunities that our country and the economic sector can benefit from. According to the Prime Minister, the discussions should evaluate how the government should respond to these opportunities in both the short-term and long-term, taking into account the changes in the structure of the economy under new conditions.
Within this context, several ideas, proposals, and observations were presented during the discussions. Experts from the Central Bank provided their analyses regarding developments in the global economy and possible trends. In this context, the construction of sectors based on human capital, technologies, and knowledge, as well as the stimulation of investments, were emphasized.
Prime Minister Pashinyan stressed that “our main targets should also include the changes in consumer behavior. It is necessary to promote creativity and understand how to spread it among companies, among people, and within families.”
Pashinyan highlighted the importance of consolidating Armenian scientific potential and developing specific formulas for improvement across various sectors. The head of the government noted that discussions in this format would continue, and he tasked the relevant entities to present proposals and new ideas on the aforementioned directions.
