Expired Wafers Discovered and Destroyed: Food Safety Inspection Authority
Recently, the Food Safety Inspection Authority received a report regarding expired confectionery being sold at the "Arjuk" store in the central market of Gyumri. This information was provided by the Food Safety Inspection Authority's press service.
Upon visiting the specified point of sale, inspectors from the Shirak regional center of the Food Safety Inspection Authority found that so-called "on sale" Russian "Яро" brand chocolate-covered wafers, produced on September 23, 2018, were being sold, despite their expiration date of July 23, 2019.
The entire batch of chocolate-covered wafers, weighing 20 kg, was removed from sale and destroyed on site.
