No Autopsy for COVID-19 Deaths: Law Passes
The National Assembly today approved in the second reading a bill that proposes not to conduct autopsies on those who have died from COVID-19. The law was passed with unanimous votes from 69 My Step Alliance members.
The justification for the law is that conducting autopsies on confirmed COVID-19 cases poses additional risks. In Armenia, morgues are not equipped with adequate conditions to prevent the spread of infections.
