Video: Man Steals Bag from Car in Yerevan, Causing Damage of 102,000 AMD

On March 28, around 7 PM, a woman reported to the Mashtots Police Station that between 5:40 PM and 6:30 PM, her bag was stolen from her parked Volkswagen car on Bashinjaghyan Street, taking advantage of the open window. The bag contained headphones and a passport, causing damages amounting to 102,000 AMD.

As a result of urgent measures taken to identify the person who committed the theft and to recover the stolen items, the crime was solved a day after the report was filed. Criminal investigators received information that the theft may have been committed by a 41-year-old resident of Shiraz Street.

On March 29, the suspect was taken to the Mashtots Police Station, where he provided a confession. During a personal search of the suspect, the stolen items were recovered. The circumstances are being clarified. Materials are being prepared on the fact.
