I Decided to Write a Letter to the Chief of Police Avinyan: Naira Zohrabyan
Member of the National Assembly from the "Bright Armenia" faction, Naira Zohrabyan, writes on her Facebook page, "I decided to write a letter to Chief of Police Avinyan. Despite the coronavirus parade, life continues, and agricultural enterprises and farmers have begun their spring agricultural work, with some facing serious problems.
Due to the restrictions set by the Chief of Police, many farmers are unable to work. After the winter downtime, agricultural machinery needs repairs and seasonal maintenance, and while it is possible to resort to specialized shops or their online services for auto parts, agricultural enterprises rely exclusively on economic shops for highly specific machinery like pumps, spraying equipment, harvesters, and others. For instance, a farmer may need to take a piece to the shop for necessary advice and to find spare parts.
Meanwhile, there is no opportunity to order spare parts for aggregates and tools online, nor is there online consulting for repairs. By the way, how is it that the sale of pesticides, seeds, seedlings, and polyethylene films is allowed, yet a farmer's thousands of seedlings dried up during these days due to a pump issue on the threshold of spring planting? Moreover, soil needs to be cultivated before sowing seeds, and after sowing, it must be watered and cared for. It is indeed true that a farmer's day feeds the year. Let's also think about this and find a way to ensure that farmers have the opportunity to purchase the necessary agricultural tools.
