A Group of Citizens from the Republic of Poland Evacuated from Armenia
Under the LOTdoDomu (“Return Home”) program, a group of citizens from the Republic of Poland was evacuated from the territory of the Republic of Armenia on March 28 of this year. This was reported by the Polish embassy in Yerevan.
“The return of our compatriots to Poland was made possible thanks to the efforts of the Polish embassy in Yerevan, which organized the safe transportation of passengers to the Armenian-Georgian border with the assistance of representatives from the police, as well as facilitated the border crossing of citizens. In Tbilisi, with the support of the Polish embassy, our compatriots returned to Poland on a charter flight organized by LOT,” the statement noted.
“We express our deep gratitude to the Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia, Mr. Tigran Avinyan, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Zohrab Mnatsakanyan, the head of the State Migration Service, Mr. Armen Ghazaryan, and the head of the Police of Armenia, Mr. Arman Sargsyan, for their invaluable assistance in organizing the evacuation,” it added.
