National Assembly to Increase Expenditures, Salaries and Bonuses to Rise
According to the "Jhohivourd" newspaper, the National Assembly will increase expenditures in the coming years. This becomes clear when examining the plans and required finances for the years 2021-2023.
In particular, the "Jhohivourd" daily has analyzed the amounts earmarked for salaries, bonuses, and other services for the next three years. Thus, in 2019, the annual salary of the National Assembly staff was 3 billion 414 million 632 thousand drams, in 2020 it amounted to 3 billion 53 million 557 thousand drams, while for the years 2021, 2022, and 2023 it will be respectively 3 billion 134 million 553 thousand drams, 3 billion 155 million 20 thousand drams, and 3 billion 172 million 525 thousand drams.
It should be noted that compared to this year, the salary fund is increasing for the next three years, and the Assembly has justified this by stating that the salaries of state employees have naturally increased due to an increase in the average salary.
However, it is not only salaries that will increase in the next three years compared to 2020; bonuses and monetary incentives will also see an increase. For example, it is planned to allocate 787 million in bonuses and monetary incentives in 2020, while this amount is set to rise in subsequent years, reaching 817 million drams in 2023. Additionally, funds for office cleaning, energy services, and even translation services have increased compared to this year.
