Accident on Kasyan Street: Two Injured in Serious Condition
On March 22, at 23:13, the National Crisis Management Center received a call reporting an accident on Kasyan Street in Yerevan, with a citizen trapped.
A rescue squad from the Special Rescue Operations Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations was dispatched to the scene. It was found that two vehicles, a BMW (driven by Aramazd H., born in 1989) and a Mercedes (driven by Aram K., born in 1995), collided near building number 1 on Kasyan Street.
Before the rescuers arrived, the driver of the Mercedes was extricated by local forces and transported to a hospital (details not yet confirmed). The rescuers managed to remove the driver of the BMW and brought him closer to the ambulance. Aramazd H. and passenger Vrej P. were admitted to the Heratsi Medical Center, where doctors assessed their health condition as serious.
The rescuers also closed the gas valve of the BMW and disconnected the electrical system of the vehicles.
