5.3 Magnitude Earthquake Near Croatia, Casualties Reported
A 5.3 magnitude earthquake occurred near Zagreb, the capital of Croatia. This is reported by the РИА Новости agency, citing the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre.
The earthquake was recorded on March 22 at 06:24 local time (09:24 Yerevan time).
The epicenter was located 7 km from Zagreb, with a focus depth of 10 km. The earthquake caused destruction, and rescuers retrieved the body of a 15-year-old child from the rubble.
It is noted that this earthquake was the strongest in Croatia in the last 140 years.
