Partial Collapse at Former Mosque in Kond Neighborhood
On March 20, at 20:11, the National Crisis Management Center received a report that there had been a partial collapse at the former mosque located in the Kond neighborhood of Yerevan (currently a residential building). Fortunately, there were no casualties, according to the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
A rescue team from the special rescue operations center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations has been dispatched to the scene. It was determined that a partially collapsed wall in an unoccupied section on the second floor of the building on Rustaveli Street had fallen onto the roadway, covering approximately 1 cubic meter.
The rescuers have cordoned off the area.
