Smartphones Found with Soldiers Returned to Their Parents
On March 9, Deputy Minister of Defense Gabriel Balayan participated in a meeting at the Ministry of Defense's Military Police involving the leadership of the Central Apparatus of Military Police and its subordinate divisions. This information was provided to Armenpress by the Ministry of Defense's Information and Public Relations Department.
During the meeting, the results of operational and preventive measures carried out in military units over the past weeks were summarized. It was noted that a large number of mobile phones/smartphones with operating systems had been discovered among conscript soldiers, which are being returned to the soldiers' parents. The process is ongoing, and the Military Police are actively undertaking actions to detect prohibited items in military units.
Deputy Defense Minister Gabriel Balayan once again emphasized the need for effective actions against criminal subcultures and detrimental phenomena in the armed forces, issuing directives to the leadership of various Military Police units.
