Currently, there are 13 confirmed cases of coronavirus, most of whom are contacts of a woman infected in Ejmiatsin. This was announced by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during a Facebook live stream.

In total, there are currently 100 isolated individuals in Ejmiatsin, he stated.

The woman from Ejmiatsin arrived in Armenia on February 29, and afterwards, according to Pashinyan, she was approached regularly by the Ministry of Health, but she concealed her illness.

“If she had not hidden it, then instead of 13 cases, we would have only 6,” he noted.
