Azerbaijan Opens Fire with Heavy Machine Guns towards Tavush

Azerbaijani border guard units have once again engaged in provocative actions in the Tavush region of Armenia on March 5. This was reported by the press secretary of the Minister of Defense of Armenia, Artsrun Hovhannisyan.

“For several days, Azerbaijani border guard units have been firing heavy machine guns in the same direction. The units of the Armenian Armed Forces generally exhibit restraint, but targeted gunfire will not go unanswered. The entire responsibility for these provocations and all their consequences will rest with the Azerbaijani side,” emphasizes Hovhannisyan.
