Jalal Harutyunyan Familiarizes with the Menu of an Artsakh Military Unit

The process of implementing a new food provision model for personnel continues in the Artsakh Defense Army. According to a report by Armenpress, on March 8, the Commander of the Artsakh Republic's Defense Ministry and the Defense Army, Major General Jalal Harutyunyan, attended the opening ceremony of a new mess hall and familiarized himself with the meals being served.

As in all other military units that have transitioned to the new food provision model, the response from personnel here has been overwhelmingly positive.

According to the commander of the unit, Colonel Karen Shahkaryan, the implementation of the food provision process by a civilian organization not only saves enormous human and material resources for the command but also provides additional free time. This allows for greater focus on the comprehensive processes of combat readiness and preparation. Moreover, work on transitioning to the new food provision model is also underway in other military units subordinate to the command and is expected to be completed within the set deadlines.

The majority of the staff serving in the new mess hall consists of women. As the opening of the mess hall coincided with International Women's Day, they received gifts and congratulations from the command and the leadership of the supplying company.
